Cashier Supervisor - Singapore

Description

Job Description:

  • Ensuring accuracy of the Store’s daily monies collection (include foreign currency note), bank deposits and accuracy of the cash & cashless transaction records.
  • Responsible to provide training and coaching to the cashier on the POS Machine.
  • Work closely with the finance team on the month-end closing.
  • Rotating to schedule on cashier supervisor's duty roster
  • Support the cashier if they are unable to resolve cashiering issues by dealing with the issues positively
  • Ensure all cashiers have sufficient currencies of various denominations for sales transactions.
  • Handling petty cash
  • Lead by example and excel in customer service & cashiering skill knowledge.
  • Excellent customer service and communications skills to meet the organisation business objectives and exceed customer’s expectations.
  • Cashier supervisors may also be required to attend meetings and conferences.
  • Any other ad-hoc assignment or project assigned by the reporting manager.

Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • At least GCE O Level / Diploma in Retail Management or related discipline
  • At least 3  years  travel retail or retail cashier supervisory experience
  • Maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to work rotating shifts duties in Changi Airport environment
  • Must be 21 years of age or above due to Custom’s controlled categories under Liquor and Tobacco licensing requirements
